The site is magnificent, from the stained glass and stone arches in the sanctuary to the fireplaces in the parlors and the simple Tudor feast hall. This beautiful church hosts an annual Boar's Head Festival and is the perfect setting for modern medieval activities.

Join the Shire of Hrafnafjörðr (Ravensfjord) as we host our Spring Collegium. Hot beverages will be provided. This is a wet site with drinks that can be bought in the bar through your Autocrat, and her assistant. No one else is allowed in the bar to buy drinks or hangout. No liquor is allowed to be brought from the outside into the building. We will be having a finger food pot luck that will be held through the whole Collegium. We will be ending the evening with a Bardic Practice so, please bring your song books and instruments to join in.

The topics included will cover: Pronouncing Names, Calling fights on the field with Field Practicum, Roundtable on Philosophy/History/Little Things, How to Arrange Court, Timing Court, Basic Faking a Ceremony, Court Practicum. There should be lots here for the beginner all the way to the expert herald. There was a great turnout for the January meeting at 12th Night and we hope to see you all the next day in Berkeley and the monthly meeting as well as at this fun-packed Collegium.

Inspired by Asrune's post on a Celtic music forum, Lady Fionnghuala na Lamh-Bann, of the East Kingdom, set out to find "the most overplayed/ oversung songs that you hear CONSTANTLY around the SCA campfires", and surveyed the populace at large to find out which songs made the most people cringe in horror.
Are you going to Estrella War, and do you perform as a musician, entertainer, singer, storyteller, poet, juggler, or bard? If you said 'yes', then the Open Arms Bardic Hall invites you to come and perform at the stage located in Merchants row.
Join us for a day of Music and Dancing! Classes on ME Dance, History & Garb will be held from Noon to 6 pm. The feast will be buffet style of Middle Eastern delights open from 6 – 8 pm. A dance exposition is planned for the dinner hours with an open hafla from 8 –10:30 pm. Live music will be provided for the open hafla. Musicians always welcome.
