Join the Shire of Hrafnafjörðr (Ravensfjord) as we host our Spring Collegium. Hot beverages will be provided. This is a wet site with drinks that can be bought in the bar through your Autocrat, and her assistant. No one else is allowed in the bar to buy drinks or hangout. No liquor is allowed to be brought from the outside into the building. We will be having a finger food pot luck that will be held through the whole Collegium. First, this is THE Middle Eastern/belly- dancing/all you can eat/all you can dance/all you can drum wonderful event that is one of the cornerstones of Unser Hafen! We have classes in beginning belly dance, Asian-infused belly dance, and a multi-hour Hafla! We will also have wonderful classes such as Middle Eastern Personas, Turban Wrapping, Arabic Alphabet, and the art of Henna! Or, if you just want to eat and eat and eat and eat and eat...you are definitely in luck! Bring your feast gear, because we will have a glorious feast consisting of lamb, meat wrapped in pastry, pilaf, couscous, a flatbread bar, haroset, an immense array of vegetable delicacies including carrot tzimmes, stuffed dates, baklava and ...? And if this inspires you to try your hand at cooking, we have a class on the Culinary Quest of the Middle East. If you've already been inspired to whip up a delicacy, we will greatly appreciate anything you wish to pass. (We do request that you bring an ingredients card with your dish, so people with allergies do not put themselves in harms way.) You may also wish to note that this is a wet site for those above the age of 21, so please feel free to bring anything that you have made!
