Known World Players Pennsic Auditions for "The Canterbury Tales"

The Known World Players will hold auditions for the Pennsic 43 production of Chaucer's “The Canterbury Tales” this year on the following dates and times at the Amphitheatre:

The recent Coronation of Maynard and Liadain in the Kingdom of AEthelmearc was met with great pageantry and ceremony. Mistress Arianna of Wynthrope, former director of the known World Choir, shares video of choral pieces performed during the cermony.

On June 1-2, 2013, Cantare, Inc. will present Collegium Cantorum under the direction of Timothy Kendall in a program entitled Chance Encounter, 1506, Part II of the occasional series "The Fayrfax Concerts" presenting Renaissance choral masterworks by Pierre de La Rue (c. 1542-1518) and Robert Fayrfax (1464-1521) at two sites in the Washington D.C. area.

The Barony of Windhaven will be hosting a "Play with Fire" Moot in Green Bay, June 14-16.  Since some of the projects we'd like to play with take more than a few hours, Lord Balthazar has graciously opened his backyard/field to us for free camping for the weekend.  Come for the day (Saturday) or come on Friday for the whole weekend!

Work begins on Cardigan Castle restoration project

For years, officials at Wales' 12th century Cardigan Castle have dreamed of raising funding to restore the castle and turn it into a heritage center and site for open-air concerts. The castle is believed to be the birthplace of the eisteddfod,  a festival of poetry and music, dating to the 12th century.

The Barony of the Cleftlands and the Shire of Falcon’s Quarry welcome you to the 17th Annual Northern Oaken War Maneuvers held in Wellington, OH on June 7 – 9, 2013. The site is open to the populace and furry friends on Friday, June 7 at 3 PM through Sunday, June 9 at 3 PM. This is a dog-friendly event, but please review the pet  policies regarding their attendance prior to arrival on site.
