Come join the Shire of Harplestane and Gaita on the 29th of January 2011 for a day of dancing at the latest gathering of our Dance Moot. Dance classes will be held, with opportunities to practice in the evening at a ball. For the non-dancers, there will be a selection of period games to keep everyone entertained.

Last year's success is back! Again, there will be a Saturday filled with several different workshops where you can practice singing in a choir, playing instruments, and dancing, with sessions for beginners to the intermediate. In the evening there will be a beautiful ball, with majestic music performed, fabulous food served, and, of course, a lot of dancing.

It's that time again, Fall and time for the Shire of Northover to host Harvest Home. As is our habit, we are trying to have an event which is a little different from the norm. This year's theme should prove to be unique and very exciting.

In this, the time of first frosts and final harvests, this is a time of letting go and clearing away. This is a time of inner cleansing to make way for the justice of karma and a time for seeking shelter in friendship and community. In the calendar system, this moon is typically named the Blood Moon, or "HUNTERS MOON".

As is traditional in the lands of Ildhafn, we will be celebrating the feast of Saint Catherine. Although some years this is an extravagant affair, this year's celebrations will be a little more modest as we relax in the afterglow of July Coronation. Split over the two days of the weekend of November 27th and 28th 2010, this will still be an event not to miss!

Good gentles and ladies all, our annual hunt is fast approaching and this year we are doubly blessed that the Ladies of the Rose have elected to grace our hunt with their most glorious Tournament of the Rose and Their Royal Majesties Radagaisus and Ceinwen will seal the day’s activities with the investiture of the Baron and Baroness of Ayreton.

The laundry is done and the tent is finally dry and put away. What else is there to do but come to a nice, laid-back event? The Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands is hosting a Post-Pennsic picnic on August 28, 2010, at the Overlook Shelter in Schenley Park, Overlook Drive (no street address), Pittsburgh, PA 15213. The site opens at 10 and closes at 5pm.
