Here's a reminder about the Regional Dance Practice to be held June 30 in the Barony of Small Gray Bear (Little Rock, AR). The practice will be at St. Vincent's Hospital, which is located on the SE corner of University Ave and W. Markham St.
The room we have is beautiful with skylights and a
tiled floor and very convenient access to the hospital
cafeteria, which actually has pretty decent food.

The Barony of Knight's Crossing and Shire of Meadowmarsh invite you to the ninth Nibelungen war.
Warriors of our realm, and those who would look to the strife in our realm. War is again upon our lands. The noble Shire of Meadowmarsh contests the claims that the Barony of Knights Crossing have claimed upon the lands spoken of in the Nibelungen Saga. Hence Tourneys, Battles, and Contests both martial and gentle shall be waged to decide who has right to make bold claim to titles over legendary lands.

The Shire of Sterlynge Vayle invites our friends and neighbors to join us for our weekly fight practice and picnic in Otsiningo Park on Sunday, July 15, 2007. This will be a very relaxed get together for fighting, eating and socializing with our friends.
We will begin gathering around noon, and will go until people are tired of fighting. Please come join us to share stories and swordplay. If you know of anyone who is interested in checking out SCA fighting for the first time, this will be the perfect opportunity. Please bring any loaner gear that you may have for newcomers. This will be in a beautiful public park, so there will probably be people wandering over to watch the fighting and maybe ask some questions. Garb is strongly encouraged. We will provide meats to cook on the grill – hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausages, as well as rolls, fixings, and ice. Please bring your picnic gear, a dish to pass, and drinks.

Drop your heavy burdens and travel to Logan, Utah to celebrate with the Shire of Côte du Ciel as we observe the feast day of our venerable and flammable patron, Saint Pyre. A source of warmth and light to those around him during his lifetime, and especially at the end of it, Saint Pyre's feast day is celebrated with mirth, merriment, and a distinct lack of seriousness.
The day's activities will include a heavy tournament, the traditional carrot-nosed melee, in which one lives only so long as one's carrot remains intact, a jovial round of light-hearted rapier activities, an A&S competition, and dancing.
