Once again, Stowe-on-the-Wowld is running this event inspired by Moorish Spain. Heathens and Infidels will clash in the afternoon tourney after which there will be a lavish feast in sumptuous surroundings.
Celebrate a day of courtly love, romance and chivalry with unusual tourneys for both heavy (armored) and rapier, games, competitions, and the more genteel arts like hand kissing and dancing. So hang your heart on your sleeve (literally) and come have fun. The Populous will bid on the heavy fighters to represent them in the List. Bidders to have a favor (competition) to give to the combatant they win.

The incipient Shire of Bois Ardent will be holding its anniversary event on September 5th. Shire Le Dragonet will be joining us to celebrate their anniversary. For the occasion, Bois Ardent will be blessed, for the first time, by the Royal Presence.
Beautiful summer is now with us, but we fear that winter will come all too swiftly and force us indoors. In preparation, the Northern Grain Alliance is quickly bringing in the sheaves and preparing for a Harvest Festival. But there are rumors of an impending raid upon our store of precious grain and zucchini! (gasp!) Come help us defend the fruits of our labors and rejoice in the stored harvest!

Life must be exciting in the Barony of erd Sul, Kingdom of Atenveldt, if one may judge by a video of Baron Christopher Fitzarthur performing an interpretive dance "of a young warrior putting on his armor, forgetting his pants, trying to get on a horse, and finally getting to the battle." Summer is coming, and we will celebrate with dancing and daffodils! Since many children live in Polderslot now, the event will be fun for all ages. We will do medieval things that we can all do together like games, making flower garlands and a maypole dance. In accordance with an ancient Polderslot tradition, we will also elect a May King and Queen. Come and join our celebration of spring and dance, explore the woods and be merry! We will serve a simple breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch and feast on Saturday. The site has bunk beds with plastic covers. Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases and sleeping bags.
Ildhafn's Autumn Feast: a gentle evening to recover from the rigours of May Crown. On Saturday the 9th of May. Cathrine de Vantier will be cooking a sumptuous Autumnal Feast, and we will intermingle and follow this with music, dancing and games, with an Italian theme.

The snow is melting, the grass is coming back, and Earngyld is growing. Come join us for a day of dancing, games and celebration as the Shire moves to full status. There will be a display table for everyone to show off any arts and sciences project they are working on. There will be snacks and meats, but feel free to bring period foods to share. For those interested in fighting there will be practice on Sunday.

We fall into a "deep place where the sun is silent" -- the Inferno. We will be assaulted by wasps and hornets, wrapped in Minos tail, face the 10-eyed devil himself and angels both good and evil! All of this and more in the span of one brief day.
