On March 3, 2012 the 35th Annual Black Rose Ball will be held in the Crown Barony of the Bridge. We invite everyone from far and wide to join us on this historic occasion, as we come together to celebrate the longest continuously running dance event in the entire known world.

In honour of our Lupine Majesties Thormot Quilliam and Dagmar Halvdan, Step Spritely 2012 has a Viking theme. This is an opportunity to work on an alternate persona OR to come as your Renaissance self attending a Viking theme party.

Bienvenue!  Come and join us as Arn Hold celebrates our Winter Ball in the theme of 15th century French Candlemass. Show off your cothardies and houppelandes as we dance the night away with live musicians from Tempus Perfectum and later period dances. The populace will choose Lord and Lady of Colour of the evening, so wear your finest!

The Barony of Delftwood is pleased to present Delftwood's Deadly Carnival! The theme for the event is a pre-lenten carnival festival. There will be multiple fencing tournaments, a fashion show/costume contest and dancing with live music to enjoy. There will be a feast presented by Sir Murdoch Bayne.

The festival season in the SCA means masked balls. For inspiration, dancers may want to visit the commercial Italian site Bluemoon Venice, for inspiration in creating simply gorgeous masks.
