As it has happened for centuries, the seasons continue to change. In October, Lady Autumn held the peace until it was time for Lady Winter to take over. It is now April and Lady Spring holds the peace until it is time for Lady Summer to return. The Stronghold of Nebelwald invites you to join us for a day dedicated to the arts and sciences honoring the eventual return of Summer. The theme of this event is all things summer. By honoring Lady Summer, we hope to speed her return. The morning will be dedicated to the Mything Quest, a Gathering of Goslings, and an assortment of classes for all ages and interests. Lunch will be served at midday so we can mentally and physically prepare for the afternoon activities. The afternoon will be dedicated to another set of classes as well as discussion groups, populace choice contests, and whatever activities the populace wishes to engage in.

Mummers prance, jesters grin, laughter swells like the seas, Archers shoulder their quivers full and music fills the air. Juggler's entrance, food delights, excitement buzzes like the bees, Fencers flash their blades dazzling and little children stare.

Today's SCA meets Yesterday's SCA! The Barony of Altavia welcomes all to hearken back to when Caid was a Principality: when a tree was a pavilion, when carpet armor was legal and helmets were Freon cans; when T-tunics and jeans were major costumes and hippy clothes were the height of SCA fashion; when Caidan thrones were cloth-covered fold-up aluminum chairs!
