It's time for Horseradish War again! This time we will fight and celebrate in the very heart of the Shire of Baerenau in the center of Berlin, where we welcome our friends and await our enemies, who will try to steal our just recaptured shrine again!!!
For the war we are planning: open field battles, a "steal the horseradish shrine" battle, a tourney and an A&S Competition. In the evening we will also have a torch light Rosetourney! Our feast will be a big delicious barbeque! Date: 8th to 10th September 2006 Site: The site is a former public pool area, so there are several showers for both genders.

In Anno Societatus XXIII, at the investiture of the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus' founding Baron & Baroness, Uchdred & Constance, a tournament named Mace & Greatsword was held. From that day forth, the victor is gifted with a beautiful French flanged mace, which stands today as a symbol of our barony.
As the name holds, it is a shieldless tournament, where the only weapons permitted are mace or greatsword. Grand fighters of Atenveldt, come Saturday and show us your skills as you do combat with single mace, mace Florentine, mace with inverted greatsword and greatsword. Who will take home the famed Mace of Thunder Mountain?

It's time once again to choose among the battle hardened fighters to see who the fiercest, strongest, and most honorable of them may be. As Lord Conrad MacCallum wearily steps down from his appointed place, he searches for a worthy replacement. Who will it be? Will it be the savvy and deadly Sir Yngvar, Earl Aethelmearc or the good natured Olafr Thorvardarson? Perhaps
our young Ulfar of the Sword will rise to the challenge. Above all, a strong protector of the baron must be found! Fighters are encouraged to bring an SCA list legal dagger. Join us for what looks like an extremely entertaining tournament.
