The people of Southron Gaard invite you to join us in celebrating the end of summer at a Grande Carnivale to be held at Canterbury Faire. No mud, no dust, no venomous fauna! Lots of comfortable bunkrooms and hot showers and real toilets. High points of this event will include dancing and a masque ball, a market and chances for men and women at arms of all types to show their skill. Not to mention plenty siege weapons, an Elizabethan theatrical extravaganza, a fabulous feast and event-long meal plan and the famous Mangy Mongol (purveyors of fine comestibles)(by Royal appointment).

As the Fall growing season comes to a close, come join us, the Barony of Blackstone Mountain, in our celebration of the Wicker Man Festival. The Canton of Beau Fleuve is happy to host Aethelmearc Twelfth Night. It will be held at St. John de la Salle Church at 8469 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14304 on January 7, 2006. The site opens at 9 am and closes at 11 pm. It is discretely damp and open flames are allowed.

The Stronghold of Nebelwald invites you to join us as we prepare to celebrate Allerheilgen and initiate our own method of determining how long winter will last. This seasonally-themed event should find something for everyone--use your wits, might, and/or creativity to earn points for your season. Participants should come prepared to enter the Mythical Quest, fight in a variety of seasonally-themed tournaments, enter the Bardic Competition, display A&S project, and enjoy the revelry at the Masked Feast! As it has been a very 6 months for our Barony, this years Collegium is a one-day affair with such wonderous classes and information that is worthy of skills of Innilgard's artisans. We also invite all good gentles of Lochac to come, learn and enjoy! It is also hoped that there will be rapier and heavy fighting classes held in the hall's grounds. As always, the collegium is in garb.

The Barony of Wealdsmere invites you to a day of Tournaments and Feasting. We will be holding our annual Toys for Tots Championships. These include a heavy and fencing tourney, as well as an A&S, Bardic and Games competition. The cost to enter any of the tourneys or contests is a new, unwrapped toy. The Barony of Brendoken, located in northeastern Ohio, collected over $900 at a recent silent auction to benefit those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Money from the auction, held in conjunction with baronial championships, will be donated to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief fund. Two photo albums from the event are now online.

Lord Cormac has announced that the Samhain 2005 event, which was postponed due to the affects of Hurricane Katrina, has been rescheduled. The event will take place in the Barony of Grey Niche in Gleann Abhann on October 29, 2005.

As we all know, the plans for The Rumble On The River had to be postponed for a while due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina. However, it takes more than a storm to stop a 30 year old tradition. So, while the storm has put off the war with the good folks from the Barony of Three Rivers until a later date, The Barony of Grey Niche will celebrate Samhain 2005 with a picnic in the park, blood drive, and fundraising tournament.
