The holidays are coming, and so is the Annual Beaconsgate Boar Hunt. We will be at our traditional site, Camp Herms. In addition to the Hunt during the day, we will have many activities within the hall (dancing, singing, music, games) for non-fighters and tired fighters. Please plan to bring something for your lunch if you are coming on site early.

For those of you who may not know, a Boar Hunt is a fighting activity, with fighters armed with two maces playing the part of the Boar. Hunters are armed with spears, and hounds with daggers. There are also unarmored dogs, who seek out the boars and bark when they are discovered -- this can be a great role for a mature child accompanied by a responsible adult. If there is enough interest (and a qualified volunteer marshal), we may add a hunt for rapier fighters. Location:
