Matilda Seton reports that Her Excellency Mary Blakthorn, Baroness of Caerthe in the Kingdom of the Outlands, has been offered entrance into the Order of the Pelican.

Giovanni d'Bardi, Count of Vernio, formally invites you to the Court of the Florentine Camerata, hosted in the artistically fertile lands of his dear friends, Byarki and Asta, the Baron and Baroness of Caer Galen. The great minds and most august men (and women) of Florence will be there assembled in order to restore to glory the great art and music of ancient Greece.

Lady Kathryn reports that Jarl Boleslav Ragnarsson was offered admittance to the Order of the Chivalry by Their Majesties of the Kingdom of the Outlands at the recent al-Barran Midwinter event.

On Sunday, January 4, the day after 12th Night there will be a WAR Practice!! The war practice will be held at the DOUGLAS COUNTY Fairgrounds, located in Castle Rock, beginning at 9:00AM. And we have the site all day long, or as long as endurance and desire hold for that day.

Castle Rock is between Denver and Colorado Springs and the fairground is conveniently located just 1/2 mile off of I-25. We have an indoor site reserved and, if the weather is nice, we also have use of an outdoor area if we wish. Location:

Geillis has posted several albums of photos from the recent 25th anniversary celebration in the Barony of the Citadel of the Southern Pass (El Paso, Texas) in the Kingdom of the Outlands.

Forrester reports that five valiant SCAdians took first place in the Trebuchet Division at the Aurora, Colorado Jack-o-launch. The competition was documented by Channel 4, the CBS affiliate, which provides a video of the event.

Meisha reports that an album of photos taken by Al Green of the recent Raven's Faire event in the Kingdom of the Outlands is now available to view online.

Duchess Kathryn reports that "Treaty Negotiations for Estrella War XXV were held October 18, 2008 in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Crowns and Heirs of the Kingdom of Atenveldt, Caid, and the Outlands attended, and [the] Treaty was negotiated and signed."
