On Sunday December 4 Unser Hafen will be hosting a War Practice in Fort Collins, CO from 10am-2pm. This is the day after Windkeep's Hunter's Feast event. We hope to see many fighters for a good day of melees.

Stag's Con is the yearly training event for the Outlands, and features training sessions from the entire Outlands officer staff. It is open to all citizens, be they officers or just interested in the processes of the group.

At Crown Tournament on 10 September the new heirs to the Outlands thrones were selected. The final bout was between Duke Kynan of Wyre Forest fighting for Lady Gilliana versus Sir William Flanagan fighting for THL Drahomira von Augsburg. Duke Kynan was the winner and will next sit on the Stag's throne!

On Saturday October 15, 2011 the Shire of Aarquelle will be hosting its annual Defender Tournament to determine who will hold the honor and responsibility of the Aarquelle Defender titles for the coming year.

SCA members in Casper, Wyoming (Kingdom of the Outlands) look forward to their annual event "Here There be Dragons," where they meet, share blows and "learn by doing." Elysia Conner of the Casper Journal visited with James Shipley, known in the SCA as Ronin, and has the story.
