Miles Atherton de Grey, once the first herald of the Midrealm's Shire of Mynydd Seren (Bloomington IN), and lately of Northshield's Barony of Nordskogen (area around Minneapolis MN), is no more. Many who did not know him by his SCA name will remember his novels, stories, poems, and wargaming works under his mundane name, John M. Ford.

Lady Alexandria laNoire is a 10th century Danish homemaker and archer who, along with her husband Syr Theodric van Rostock, showed off her prowess recently at the Great Geauga County Fair in Burton, Ohio. Joan Cooper Rusek of the Sun-News reports.

The medieval music group Trio Mediæval is scheduled to give a performance at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio on November 15, 2006. The concert is sponsored by the Cleveland Museum of Art and will begin at 7:30 pm.

Cabins that sleep up to twelve are available. There is no extra charge for using the cabins. Cabins can be reserved in advance. Cabins reservations that do not fill the cabin (10 occupants) *may* have additional guests assigned to them on the day of the event. Cabin space will be assigned by the gate staff on the day of the event.
