The medieval music group Trio Mediæval is scheduled to give a performance at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio on November 15, 2006. The concert is sponsored by the Cleveland Museum of Art and will begin at 7:30 pm.

Site fee is $10.00 per adult for the weekend and $4.00 per adult day-tripping on Saturday only. Ages 6 to 13 half price, 5 and under - free. A $3.00 surcharge applies to all adult non-member admissions. Price for feast is $8.00 per adult, Ages 6 to 13 half price, 5 and under - free. Sorry, but there is no pre-registration discount.

Cabins that sleep up to twelve are available. There is no extra charge for using the cabins. Cabins can be reserved in advance. Cabins reservations that do not fill the cabin (10 occupants) *may* have additional guests assigned to them on the day of the event. Cabin space will be assigned by the gate staff on the day of the event.

Gwen H. Jader of the Daily Herald Correspondent (Chicago, Illinois area), stepped back into the past at the recent Border Skirmish event, which was co-hosted by the Shire of Ravenslake in the Midrealm and the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr in Northshield.

He was known by many names: Charles the Indecisive, Constable Barnabas of Fife, and most often, just Charlie. Charles Carlton Dreyer, age 62, passed away on June 21 from cancer, leaving a void in the Marche of Alderford that will be hard to fill.
Greetings and welcome are bid to all Bards, Troubadors, Trouveres, Minstrels, Minnesingers, Jongleurs, Singers, Storytellers, Poets, Scops, Skalds, Fillids, Olaves, Griots, Wordsmiths, and Friends of these arts. Also Musicians, Dancers, Jugglers, Magicians, and Players as well.
This year's Bardic Madness will take place on November 11th, 2006. Our hosts will be the Barony of Brendoken (most of NE Ohio). Many thanks go to all of them for their hospitality in helping the bardic community out this year. Our theme will be the sea and all that lies within it.
