Members of the Barony of Roaring Wastes were successful in persuading the city council of Warren, Michigan to exempt SCA fighter practices from a new law banning fighting in city parks.

Metea Renaissance Faire Brings Fun to Fort Wayne

“At a Renaissance festival, the stage spills over into the lanes – much like interaction with characters at Disneyland – and you become part of the show. Miles Atherton de Grey (mka: John M. Ford, author & poet) passes

Miles Atherton de Grey, once the first herald of the Midrealm's Shire of Mynydd Seren (Bloomington IN), and lately of Northshield's Barony of Nordskogen (area around Minneapolis MN), is no more. Many who did not know him by his SCA name will remember his novels, stories, poems, and wargaming works under his mundane name, John M. Ford.
