The College of St Malachy will be holding their annual Newcomers feast on the 26th of March, 2011. You are all invited to join us for a day of feasting, fighting, dancing, drinking and fun with the chance to make new friends or meet up with old.

Looking for an event between Canterbury Faire and Rowany Festival which is a lot smaller? Want to travel light and leave the armour at home (unless you would enjoy being a target for combat archery!!)

Rowany Festival 2011 will commence with Opening Court on Thursday the 21st of April with Closing Court on the evening of Monday the 25th of April, clearing site on Tuesday the 26th. Again to be held at the lush and green Glenworth Valley in Peats Ridge, NSW. This, the biggest event of the Kingdom’s calendar, will bring you the best our kingdom has to offer.

Giles de Roet reports that Their Majesties of the Kingdom of Lochac have chosen to elevate Don Tariq ibn Jelal to the Order of the Laurel for his years of research and application of period fencing.

Lord Yves de Lyle, Seneschal for the Shire of Kraé Glas, reports that Their Majesties, King Edmund and Queen Leonore of Lochac have announced that the shire has fulfilled all the necessary conditions to become a barony.

House Radburne will be hosting November Crown 2011 in the far western reaches of the Barony of Rowany from the 4th to 6th November 2011.

The theme will be Lochac (red, white and blue).

As is the tradition in Radburne, the Tourney of the Yellow Rose, in celebration of friendship will be held on the first Saturday of November, that being the 6th of the month.

Tourney style will be round robin with the winner of each bout presenting a yellow rose to the spectator of their choice.

The Barony of Rowany will once again have it's well-accustomed Yule Feast, on Saturday the eleventh day of December at Petersham Town Hall, being stewarded by Anton de Stoc.
