As has been the custom, the College of St Malachy and its surrounding shire of Adora being blessed with many young people of most excellent grace and vigour, do we hold the Flametree Ball each year, a most entertaining evening of song, dance, food and merriment to the delight of all who attend.

The Barony of Ynys Fawr invites one and all to witness the stepping down of our third Baron and Baroness, Arnfinr Akasson and Anna Caterina del Cossa, and the Investiture of our fourth Baron and Baroness, Master Snorri Bloddrekkr or Odinslundi and Lady Stella de Ravenscar.

Princes to act, monarchs to behold the swelling scene! Imagine, a grand field, surrounded by the pavilions of the greatest nobles of the realm. Pennants snap in the breeze as the heralds call gracious ladies clad in the finest of velvets and brocades to bear witness to the swirling clash of arms!
A glorious day indeed! Harken now to the hall, lanterns and candles throwing soft light on the many banners. The steward ushers the servers forward, their tray piled high with the finest produce and game in the Kingdom.

On Sunday 25th February there will be a combined demo and event at Blackbutt Reserve, New Lambton Heights, in the Mahogony Drive section of the reserve. The demo is for the Scouts. The Scouts event starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm. I think that we should turn up between 9 and 10 for setting up and getting ready. From about 10:30am onwards we can start doing demos.

At last the Mahout returns and the elephants are banished. Friday night sees simple but wholesome fayre followed by a night of answering profound questions of fundamental significance Saturday is a day of mixed melees & A&S workshops. For the melees two teams hand picked by two captains will contest the field in search of riches and glory.
