Imagine the scene: 150 or more gentles garbed in soft wools and linens. Banners and pennons fly gently in the breeze that stirs the firs. Nearby is a coffee house, where stories of past renown and future conquest are spun, while spindles twirl a more tangible yarn. To one side, knights and nobles practice the arts martial, while consorts discuss bruise remedies. Flocks of charming children run errands when not playing on the lush green grass. First Mates Tourney

It is that time of the year again. For the past twelve months, Lord Tostig has valiantly served my Captain in defense of my ship. The Guardian will now be requiring a new and loyal First Mate whose job it is to protect the Captain and the Ship. The Performers and Entertainers Guild of the Kingdom of Lochac is a guild "dedicated to the promotion, encouragement, learning and performance of bardic, theatrical, instumental and all other entertainment arts within an SCA context," with an amazing website.
