After a brief hiatus from our shire, do the Baronies of Delftwood and Endless Hills of AEthelmearc and the Barony of Concordia of the Snows of the East Kingdom return to the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle for Barony Wars and Bazaar V.

A recent immersion event in the Barony of Concordia of the Snows, East Kingdom, brought vividly to life the Anglo-Saxon epic Beowulf in a way seldom seen at SCA events.

“The Hafla is my favorite event because they get the sights and smells right,”  said  SCA member Janet Johnston about a recent event in the Shire of Quintavia (East Kingdom). Rebecca Alty of The Item spent the day at the Hafla and reported her experience.

Baroness Eularia Trewe, Vicereine of the Crown Province of Ostgardr in the East Kingdom, was inducted into the Order of the Pelican at Mudthaw in the Barony of Settmour Swamp recently.

The year comes to a close here in the small demense of Fair Haven Hall. Travelers and subjects of the manor make the trek to the small Northumbrian hamlet to spend the final day of the Christmastide in music dance, games, merriment and a camaraderie little seen outside the immense oaken doors of the picturesque hall.
