"Timeline" Inspires Huge Medieval Event

SCAdians are invited to join the fun in Mont St. Anne, Quebec, Canada when the city will play host to thousands of people attending a medieval event in October 2005. The site will use sets and props from the movie Timeline.

The Baron's Away... The Peasants Will Play!

The Barony of Stonemarche invites you for a day of picnicking and play! Come join us for a secluded lakeside potluck picnic. With charcoal grills available on site and covered pavilions to shelter the fair from the sun, we will make merry and play! Fighting and fencing may occur, depending upon available marshals. There are many trails to enjoy a quiet walk through the wood and swimming is allowed (no lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk). Paddleboats and canoes are available from the park for a small fee.

Celtic Classic Festival and Demo

Where can you go to spin or weave all day, fight until you're ready to drop, see Celtic Music performances live, for free and eat haggis and potato pancakes? There's only one place, the Shire of Eisental invites all to join us for our two day demo, September 24th and 25th, at the Celtic Classic Festival in Bethlehem, PA. While the focus is Celtic all personas are welcome.

Stop the Pirates

As the summer comes to a close, the harvesting is close to done, the merchant vessels are heavily laden with grains, foods, jewelry, cloth, weapons and iron destined for their Majesties and traders in far away lands. Though some have made an uneventful journey, others have been detained, boarded, and had their holds emptied by pirates. Upon hearing of this, Their Excellencies declared the warriors of these lands must arm themselves and put an end to the piracy that hinders trade and is stopping the taxes from reaching the King and Queen.
