Percival de la Rocque, Stave Herald, reports that at Their recent Trillium Wars, Their Majesties Edward and Rylyn, of the Kingdom of Ealdormere placed two of Their subjects on vigil to contemplate elevation to the Peerage. Magestra Nicolaa begged the boon for both vigilants.

This is event is a Baronial camping event which will try to continue the tradition of Baronial Muster and of Autocrat’s Day Off. The facility, Raven’s Knoll is a private campground of just over 100 acres between Golden Lake and Eganville on the Bonnechere River.

Canton der Welfengau will sponsor the Mega Practice on February 26, 2012 in conjunction with the University of Guelph Medieval & Renaissance Society. SCA and university waiver policies will be in effect.

A reporter with the Standard Freeholder paid a visit to the Canton of Harrowgate Heath in Eastern Ontario. The article showcases many SCA activities including fighting, heraldry, and scribal arts.
