The honourable Canton of Humalasalo offers you once more a wonderful opportunity to participate in an Aarnimetsän tent camp. During this 10 day event you have a lot of activities to choose from: there are heavy fighting tourneys (Nordic 1000) and three days of war, fencing, archery, arts and sciences lectures and competitions, dancing, games... Summer is coming, and we will celebrate with dancing and daffodils! Since many children live in Polderslot now, the event will be fun for all ages. We will do medieval things that we can all do together like games, making flower garlands and a maypole dance. In accordance with an ancient Polderslot tradition, we will also elect a May King and Queen. Come and join our celebration of spring and dance, explore the woods and be merry! We will serve a simple breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch and feast on Saturday. The site has bunk beds with plastic covers. Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases and sleeping bags.

The idea is to make a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela using as medieval gear as possible. In short, our " frame of reference" is romantic history as seen by the SCA. The trip will take a minumum of seven days, we will walk approximately 150 kilometers and this will cost (approximately) from 200€ to 500€ (depending how much you have to fly).
