In February 2013, a 61-year-old man woke up in a Palm Springs, California hospital, speaking Swedish and claiming his name was Johan Ek. Diagnosed with Transient Global Amnesia and identified by his ID as an American, Michael Boatwright mystified doctors until the Society for Creative Anachronism became involved. (photos)

Lava Trolls and, their cousins, Rock Trolls have been sighted in the hills of Klakavirki. He fears his wooden peasants will not be enough to stop their advance. He calls for aid to divert the trolls attention from himself and his wooden subjects. Mostly himself. He promises rewards to all those that aid him and his wooden peasants in fending of those stinking trolls.

Frostheim Fencing Weekend - October 12th -14th 2012
There should be lots of fencing with well-known instructors such as Viscount Eirik (ODS) & King Paul with his famous long sword class. Fencing will be possible indoors with suitable footwear with non-marking soles - please keep this in mind when packing your gear!
