Katharine of Cate Hall reports that at Their recent Crown Tournament, Their Majesties Craven and Elzbieta of the Kingdom of Atenveldt offered admittance to the order of the Laurel to two of Their populace.

Four thousand Roman soldiers, the distinguished Ninth Legion, marched into the north to subdue the rebellious Picts.  None ever returned.  Hadrian's Wall, was then built by soldiers of the Second, Sixth and Twentieth Legions to keep Romans separate from the barbarians.

Magdalen reports that Thegn Christopher FitzArthur of Walland Marsh has been offered Knighthood from Their Majesties Craven and Elzbieta of the Kingdom of Atenveldt.

Whatever your art, skill, or special knowledge of the arts and sciences of the Middle Ages, you are cordially invited to join us for an hour (or longer) instructing a captivated audience at Estrella War XXVIII. Classes will be scheduled from Wednesday (3/28/2012) to Sunday (4/1/2012), starting each day at 9:00 am and ending at 6:00 pm.

Tir Ysgithr's Historic Great Helm Tournament will be held on February 18 - 19, 2012 with a Feast on the evening of the 18th.

Mark Allen Mussack, an SCA member from the Barony of Atenveldt has been reported missing. He was last seen December 31, 2011 when dropped off by his wife at a Greyhound bus station in Vernal, Arizona. Mussack was traveling to Denver, Colorado.

The Barony of Tir Ysgithr is pleased to host the first War Practice of the new year on Sunday, January 8, the day after Kingdom 12th Night, also to be held in Tir Ysgithr.

Picture this, it's the longest night of the year and how are you going to spend it? By reveling with your friends and family of course, but watch out for the trickster, can you guess who he is?

The Holly King reigns over our land as the fading light struggles to shine upon a snow whitened landscape. At the base of Granite Mountain there is a great and enchanted forest, the bare branches bedecked in brilliant diamonds of ice twinkling in the starry night.

Mineko of Twin Moons, Estrella War Promotions Officer, has released a number of announcements for the upcoming War.

So, due to many many events and some RL stuff, I'll be doing the first of my Saturday Twin Moons Archery practices  this Saturday from 1-4pm at Papago Park.

I will have a couple of loaner bows, and limited arrows. Really need to make more.
