For centuries, commoners and nobles alike have celebrated events in life with dancing. Notable among these events in life is the completion of the annual harvest. The Honorable Barony of Dragons' Laire chooses to continue that tradition.
Accompanied by bards from throughout An-Tir, Abbot Siôn of Dragons' Laire will teach a variety of dances over four hours. The Costumers Guild will sponsor a parade of costumes for those who wish to show off their finery.

Game of Thrones : Stormgods Barony of Stromgard Sept 12-14, 2008 Vancouver, WA
Note the NEW site. The grass-rich rolling hills near Woodland Washington host sunshine, frivolity, camaraderie, open fields and sheltered meadows of an ancient family farm.
Count Sir Tiernan Mor Dal Cais’ landmark tournament “A Game of Thrones and Stormgods” is returning to Stromgard. This format pits teams of heavy fighters in war for supremacy in Stromgard's famous castle, while simultaneously competing for baronial heavy champion. Last year fighters raved it was EPIC!

Always wondered what nobleman did when they weren't at war? What was a favorite pastime of Royalty? What outdoor activity did women ride astride at and carry their own birds of prey with equal ability to the men? It was hunting! Several Kings wrote their own books on this sport, many illuminations showed women riding to the hunt, and falconry was enjoyed by everyone. This is an event not to be missed and it will be your chance to learn about period hunting techniques and game, hunting weapons, and animals used for hunting in period.
