The SCA Inc. seeks applicants for the position of Chief Technical Officer, for a three-year term beginning April 15, 2008. This is a part-time volunteer position requiring technical leadership and a commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week plus availability for emergencies.

At Coronation on 3 November 2007, Their Royal Majesties Morgan and Livia, whose mugs were dry, asked His Excellency, Viscount Sir Justin du Roc, KSCA, OP, to get them refilled. When he had done so, Their Majesties surprised him with his Laurel as well, making him the 44th quadruple peer in the Known World.

Meistari Katriona, Northshield Seneschal, reports that the Board of Directors of the Society for Creative Anachronism has voted to lower the Non-Member Surcharge (NMS) for in Canada from the current CA$4.00 to CA$3.00 to reflect the value of the American dollar.

Viscount Sir Gaius Marcellus Librus Auklandus, OL, OP, passed away from an apparent heart attack last week. He was living in the Kingdom of the West at the time, but had lived in many kingdoms over the course of his SCA life, including Atlantia, Meridies, Ansteorra, the East and Caid.
