It is that time again! Lagerdamm's A&S and Christmas Party is Dec. 19, 2009. A&S begins at 2pm-5pm, and dinner starts at 6pm.

Let it be known that from the sixteenth to the eighteenth of April, there shall be a Faire to celebrate the arts and artisanal crafts, and this faire shall be held in the lord baron's holding known as Castle Tannenberg. The lord Baron shall be there to welcome all and sundry to this demesne, but especially those who wish to share their and display their myriad workes.

David Caldwell of the National Museum of Scotland does not believe the recognized theory that the famous Chessmen of Lewis belonged to a merchant passing through Scotland. Caldwell thinks the owner was a noble who lived in the area, and that the pieces may not have been "chessmen" at all.

The darkest part of the Winter is upon us! Come help us celebrate the Winter Solstice and the return of sunlight and longer days. Come join us as we share in the warmth of friendship, the joy of laughter and the delight of good food. Games, songs, and dancing will be encouraged! There will be an autocrat's whim contest for the best table decorations, an A&S contest for black and white in any mode, and a Heart's whim contest for the person who is best able to stay in persona. Dust off your creativity and imagination and give these contests a try!

Come and celebrate the season. This year's Yule Court will be held at the Huachuca Oaks Camp. Please bring your games and your dancing shoes. There will be cookies for the young (and young at heart) to decorate and take with them and a few other activities for them as well.

Greetings from the Shire of Montevale! We've uncovered a “piccola parte” (small piece) of Italy in our own backyard. Come join our fair shire at this idyllic site for a day of learning and friendship in the Italian tradition. A variety of Italian themed classes and others will be offered for your educational pleasure. Anyone willing to teach or merchant is welcome, as well as those who wish to learn and shop. There will dancing, entertainment, a gaming area, Bocce (lawn bowling), and a surprise or two. A children's area set aside,(no structured activities are scheduled).
