It's the Lusty Month of May, and the Shire of Talmere invites you to come walk amongst the menagerie and celebrate our main annual event!  The theme is 15th century Florence and Rome and a historical wedding celebration.

The seasons have once more run their course, and the Shire of Loch Bais once again celebrates the occasion of its birth.

his is the 16th year that Cote du Ciel is hosting a Renaissance Faire to benefit the community center where we have our weekly practices.  This Faire is one of the ways in which we "pay" for our use of the building. This is NOT an SCA event.

The marketers of Electronic Arts' videogame Dante's Inferno had an unusual rollout plan: self-protest the game, based on Dante Alighieri's 14th century work, as an evil, anti-Christian entertainment to drum up publicity for the game. Reviewers found Inferno to be less hellish and more of a dud. Mark Oppenheimer of the New York Times has the story.

All young lords and ladies can quest for the fabled horn with the guidance of an adult. One of noble and true heart will complete the quest and guard the Horn for the coming year.
