Inspired by medieval and earlier times,Reannag Teine specializes in unique, usable pottery—safe for food and drink and well as modern conveniences as the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. All the designs are drawn free-hand and hand-painted onto the hand-thrown pottery—no molds or stencils used—and our wares are designed sturdy, built to survive years of everyday use.

The Gryffon Armory provides leather armor and accessories for the SCA, Larp, or anything in need of leatherwork. From costume and armor grade leather pieces such as bracers, gorget, and even full suits to frogs, sheaths, quivers, and, for the completist, dog harnesses for carts. They also deal in llamelar, scale, and even chain armor and jewelry.

If you enjoy wearing tights, playing a lute, eating turkey legs, and doing it all for paying crowds, you may have Ron Patterson to thank. Patterson, who created Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Southern California in 1963, is credited with having founded the modern Renaissance Fair.

The citizens of Wrightstown, PA interacted with Maid Marian and the Sheriff of Nottingham, while members of the SCA and the Markland Medieval Mercenary Militia offered demonstrations of medieval combat and crafts at the recent Wrightstown Library Village Renaissance Faire. The Washington Heights and Inwood Development Corporation sponsors a yearly Medieval Festival at the Cloisters museum of medieval art located in Fort Tryon Park near the northern end of Manhattan Island, complete with jousting, falconry, pageants and feasts.
