A copper badge bearing three heraldic lions has been found in a stone wall in Coventry, England. The badge probably came from a horse harness.

At the April 24, 2010 Midlands Viking Symposium, Dr Philip Shaw from the University of Leicester delivered a paper on his research on Viking naming practices. His research discussed the common practice of giving female children names derived from male names.

SCA folk march in 2009 Fayetteville Rotary Christmas Parade

At 11:00 a.m., 12 December 2009, Members of the Canton of Attillium and the Barony of Windmaster's Hill participated in the 2009 Christmas Rotary Parade. This year two horses complete with armored riders, barding, lance and shield were introduced.
