Come and spend a day participating in Mounted Warrior Games. Ring tilts, Quintains, Spear Throwing, Crest Combat Tourney and a Challenge Course are planned for Intermediate level and above (must compete at a trot or higher). In addition we will have a Jousting Demo in honor of our most beautiful Queen by the mounted warriors that were at Atlantia's first Jousting Practice in April.

The state of Maryland has a 200-year tradition of ring jousting, where riders compete to snare a small ring with a lance made of wood, but the sport has largely died out. Now ring jousting is making a comeback. Mary Battiata of the Washington Post has the story.

The Shire of Stormsport is proud to announce that it will be hosting an Equestrian Boot Camp on Saturday, November 18th from 11 AM until we "boot" people (and horses) out.
This somewhat stripped down version of last year's Horses, Hawks and
Hounds will be focused on three things: Training/authorizing
groundsmen, getting riders authorized and getting Marshals-in-Training

Graywood has changed sites and has had the joy of designing one tailored to your needs with shaded camping, plenty of room on the list fields, stalls and ready water for the horses, showers for you, and a stone fire pit for evening enjoyment. The site is still semi-primitive but with limited electricity and multiple water sources.

Bring your faithful destrier (or rent one from the Caidan Royal Stables) and join us upon the tourney field to fight for the honor of being Her Majesty Kolfinna’s Equestrian Champion.
Riders (Intermediate and Advanced) will compete on the Quintain, Rings, Pig Heads and Beheading the Enemy. Top riders will advance to the finals for a ride-off of Her Majesty’s choosing. Beginners and young riders are also welcome – special competition categories will be created depending on the authorization levels.
