In June 2014, Their Majesties Tindal and Etain of the Kingdom of AEthelmearc offered elevation to the Order of the Pelican to Shishido Tora Gozen. The elevation too place at the Kingdom's Equestrian Championship.

Unique horse harness found at Cork castle dig

Archaeologists working on excavations at Caherduggan, near Doneraile, Co Cork, Ireland, have discovered a gilt-covered leather harness with heraldic symbols dating to the 13th-14th century, the only "intact example ever found in Britain or Ireland."

The SCA joined forces with 4-H recently in New Jersey to celebrate the Middle Ages at the 3rd Annual Renaissance Faire at the Warren County Fairgrounds. Lillian Shupe of the Hunterdon County Democrat promoted the faire and shot photos which are available online.
