Toronto man killed with crossbow in public library

A Toronto man was shot and killed with a crossbow while visiting a public library. The assailant, believed to be the victim's son, walked into the crowded library, fired the cross bow, and then left.

12th century children's bow found in Russia

A small bow, believed to have been a toy for a child, was found in an excavation in Staraya, Novgorod Region, Russia. A tiny arrow was also found nearby.

Vicar invokes medieval archery practice law

The vicar of Collingbourne Ducis in Wiltshire has enforced the ancient law, never taken off the books, that allows her to summon the village to archery practice. Those complying with the call to service were rewarded with food and drink.
