Meridian Triple Elevation at Tourney of the Foxes

As Their Royal Majesties Boru and Deirdre sat in court at Tourney of the Foxes (Shire of Vulpine Reach), the populace assembled to witness not one, not two, but three elevations, one each to all three Orders of Peerage.

The first saw Mistress Solveig Eiriksdottir, OP, elevated to the Order of the Laurel. Mistress Solveig has been a prominent figure in the Barony of Thor's Mountain for decades and was recognized for her nobility in service with the Order of the Pelican only three short years ago.

The second saw Baron Alexander Ravenscroft, Torch Herald of Meridies, elevated to the Order of the Pelican. Their Royal Majesties, shortly after Alexander had announced the start of the heavy weapons tourney, instructed him to open Court and immediately informed him that he was to sit vigil that very day and be elevated just five hours later. At his elevation, he was presented with a medallion that was passed down from one of the legends of Meridies, Margarethe the Dog, making Alexander its bearer almost exactly thirty years to the day from her elevation.

The third saw Baron Aidan McKay made a Knight of the Society. He has fought alongside the warriors of the Barony of South Downs for over a decade and, after a considerable showing on the field, Baron Aidan was brought into court to be elevated. He was presented with spurs, sword, chain, and belt from several of the veteran Knights of Meridies, including the belt of His Majesty Boru, Aidan's peer.

Huzzah to Mistress Solveig, Master Alexander, and Sir Aidan!
