The March of Wealhhnutu is having our Bi-annual Masked Revel. This year we are doing something new! We are having a Scavenger Hunt, BUT the hunt will take place BEFORE our event!
The items to be found are:
Silverware set, Plate and Bowl, Tankard, Pillow with Kingdom Heraldry, Belt, Tapestry, 101 Buttons, 5 Plumes or Quills, Snood, A piece of Traditional Chainmaile, Authentic Sewing Kit, Beeswax Candle, Leather Pouch, A Mace, Flask, Torque, Rune Set or Tarot Cards, A Hand Flower, 10 Pieces of Parchment, A Hip Scarf with Coins, Byzantine Necklace, A Boar, A Pirates Hat, and A Cloak of Kingdom Colors.
There will be a prize for the person, or group who is the first to arrive with the largest number of items in hand. Those items you wish to donate will then be auctioned off, this is a fundraiser for our March.
We will also have a wonderful feast with many delicious foods to satisfy your hunger. There will be Chicken Parmesan, Beef Brisket, Turnips & Onions, raw vegetables, cheeses, and breads. Please bring a dessert to feed 6.
After dinner we will have entertainment, the Whiskey Bards will be one of the groups performing that evening.
Site fee: Members 12 & older $12.00, 11yrs. and under $9.00. Non-members 12 & older $15.00. Family maximum $42.00. Deadline for feast reservations is October 20, 2007.
Site Info: Sonoita Fairgrounds, Pioneer Hall, Sonoita, AZ - Site opens at 4PM and closes at midnight.
Site is discreetly wet.
Directions: From I-10 take Hwy 83 south to Sonoita. The Sonoita Fairground is ¼ mile past the intersection of Hwy 83 & Hwy 82. From Sierra Vista, go north on Hwy 90 to Hwy 82. Follow Hwy 82 to Sonoita. In Sonoita turn left on Hwy 83, go ¼ mile to fairgounds on the right.. From Nogales follow Hwy 82 to Sonoita, turn right onto Hwy 83 and the fairgrounds is ¼ mile on your right.
