Behind the Scenes: Rare Books at the Field Museum

The Field Museum in Chicago, IL offers a chance to glimpse rare books from
the Mary W. Runnells Rare Book Room on October 5 and 12, 2002.
On two Saturdays in October, the Field Museum in Chicago will open up its rare
book room and let in the light -- and interested researchers. The program will
allow participants a rare glimpse at treasures in the Mary W. Runnells Rare
Book Room, such as rare 15th century manuscripts, as well as works by Audubon
and Darwin. The program will be presented on Saturday October 5 and Saturday
October 12. The cost for this program is $15 and pre-registration is required.
