Alaide Vilchis Ibarra of the University Daily Kansan reports on a demo staged by members of the Shire of Carlsby, the local SCA group. “We are all history geeks for the most part with an interest in medieval life,” said Richard Jones, a Lawrence resident and 27-year society member.
