Vatican Unveils Virtual Tour

Tour the Sistine Chapel on the Vatican's new website. The BBC reports that the Vatican's website -- http://www.vatican.va/ -- will feature a "virtual tour" of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, painted by Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni in the early 16th century, as well as other details from the Vatican's galleries and museums. The Vatican is also creating an online gift shop, and is also considering using the website for online ticket sales.
