The exhibition will feature "more than 350 rare and beautiful pieces of Islamic art from the Khalili Collection, including illuminated manuscripts and Qur'ans, colourful ceramics and enamelled objects, lustre-painted glass, lacquerware and finely woven textiles. It illustrates the breadth of artistic achievement in the Islamic world from early Islam in the 7th century to the early 20th century."
