Tuchux Charity Tournament to raise money for breast cancer research

Darter the Chronicler reports that the Tuchux will hold their annual Charity Tourney at Pennsic 36 to benefit the Susan G Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer research. Donations will be accepted the day of the tournament as well as online (click "original article.")

Greetings unto the populace of Pennsic. This is Darter the Chronicler, that photographer guy and the moderator of The Vulgar Unicorn (http://pnet-refugees.tribe.net/ ) once more.

This time, I am beseeching people to help out with a very noble and worthy crusade. The fight is against breast cancer, and when I say fight, I mean that literally. Every year the Tuchux hold their annual Charity Tournament on the second Thursday (August 16), during War week in the late afternoon. Fighters from all over the known world come to fight in the bear pits, offering donations for the cause.

Not all the donations come from people who fight though, some good gentles simply stop by the battlefield to give donations for the cause. All of the money is then given to the Susan G Komen Foundation (http://cms.komen.org/komen/index.htm ) to help them find a cure.

If you are not a fighter, not going to Pennsic or are just too busy that particular day to stop by, there is another way you can help.

Just go to my Tuchux Charity Tournament gallery and look for the white "Make a Donation" button. It's all via Paypal and I will make sure all the money is given to the Tuchux during the event.

Thank you in advance for helping fight this scourge.

PS: I will be cross posting this all over the place to get the word out. With only 45 days until Pennsic, I'd LOVE to be able to hand the charity a sizable amount to help the cause.
