* Most rooms have 2 single beds. You can either find a room mate, one can be randomly assigned or you can pay for both beds in the room. Please let us know when registering which option best suits you. Showers and Toilets are down the Hall from the bed rooms.

These prices include all site fees. Feast is a separate fee. Reservations are being taken now. Payment taken at the Gate when you arrive. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the event with no penalty. But please only Reserve if you know you are coming. These rooms will go fast.

Rooms are assigned at a first come first serve basis. When we run out, there is an option for open bay dorm style rooms. But we won't go there unless needed. So register early for the best choices. While the Abbey is not heated, keep in mind that 8 September is still pretty much nice weather here in Canon City.

Camping will be available in the center of the activities. The Soccer Field will be put into use as a camp site. Please note that there are NO FIRES allowed in Canon City. IF this changes for some reason we will let you know. The Gym or Hedley Hall will be open to all campers who want a hot shower and flush toilets. Both of these buildings border the camping field.

There is a Winery on site. Special Event Parties are being scheduled in consideration of this. Please note that there are limited areas where drinking is allowed on this site. Licensing Rules are enforced here. We will post places and times for parties at a later date and on line. Don't plan on bringing your own beverages. If we do open up to outside liquor, I will post it on the web site in advance. Also this is a fairly nice sized town. There are plenty of places to buy anything you may need.

The Site The Holy Cross Abbey was built in the 1920's as a Gothic Style Chapel and Abbey for the use of the local monks. Later it became a boy's school and orphanage. As more youngsters called the Abbey home more buildings were added to the grounds; dormitories, a gymnasium, an eating hall/cafeteria, sports fields. Plenty of parking was added too. This facility commands a breathtaking view of the local mountains and peaks.

The Library within the Abbey was the old Main Hall and Dinning Room for the monks. Hand made wooden tables are still in use in this room from when the monks first made then when they first arrived in Colorado almost a century ago. This room is seldom used now and will host our Feast and Courts.

The Feast will be a catered affair. There will be a Buffet style dinner and will cost $15 per person. Feast currently contains the following:

  • Fried Chicken
  • Sliced Ham
  • Broccoli
  • Tossed Salad
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Italian Bread and butter
  • Assorted Pies
  • All Beverages

No need to bring feast gear. All is provided. As is clean up!

Many of the Activities are still in the Planning Stage. Information on The Crown Tournament and Sunday's Warlord will be posted to a web site at a later date. Please feel free to contact the autocrat if you have any specific questions.

This is a site like no other in the Outlands. We hope that you will make an attempt to see it for yourself.
