The Archer / Heavy Warlord is back with a twist!! On this day the Warlord is only the beginning! The competing sides will be chosen via the Warlord Tourney; then the fun will begin. War points will be accumulated via contests of Bardic Talent, Games of Chance (Goose – gambling variation) and Skill (Kubb), Prowes on the field (Goose – combat variation), and Skill with the bow. Join us for a good time for all.

Form up your teams now. Teams should be between 5 and 7 people and will consist of at least one (1) archer, one (1) heavy fighter, and one non-combatant.

Fighters should bring a copy of your Coat of Arms on a 8 1/2” x 11” escutcheon to be used as a target for the archers, if you wait until the day of the event you will be using a larger escutcheon. All hits on the larger targets will be registered as a “kill”. Hits on the outer border of the smaller targets will be registered as the loss of a leg or arm, so it pays to bring your 8 1/2” x 11” escutcheon.

Archers should bring a copy of your Coat of Arms on a 6 1/2” x 8 1/2” escutcheon to be used as a target, if you wait until the day of the event you will be using a larger escutcheon. All hits on the archer’s target will drop the archer from further shooting for that round – ever try to pull a 150 pound long bow with one leg?!?!
