McDaniel Park comes alive with the sound of melee

Heavy fighters from the Shire of Shire of Oakheart in Springfield, Missouri enjoy a little friendly battle when they gather at McDaniel Park on Thursday evening for a practice. Mike Penprase of the News-Leader reports.
The fighters can hone their skills in the park while attracting the notice of non-SCA members such as Keith Forrest from Minnesota, who heard about the practice from a relative who lives near the park.
