The popular musical trio Wolgemut will again be attending this year's Pennsic War. Wolgemut, which means "good mood" in German, has become a popular feature of the Pennsic War. Playing in concert, in the marketplace and at private camps, the band has made many friends in the United States. Michael Gartner, Stefan Plonske, and Anja Herrmann make up the trio, which delights crowds with a blend of traditional medieval dances and instrumental numbers mixed with comedy. Wolgemut has become a fixture at Renaissance Faires in the United States. The band is scheduled for a concert at this year's Pennsic War and has several CDs for sale.
