Ximon Martillo de Cordoba to be elevated at West June Crown

Mistress Alison Gray and Countess Aricia Jehanne Deveraux are pleased to announce the elevation of Ximon Martillo de Cordoba, formerly of Ansteorra, to the Order of the Pelican.

At the Crown tournament on Saturday, June 23rd, Ximón Martillo de Cordoba will receive the honor of being inducted into the Order by the grace of their Majesties of the West, Jade and Kaaren!

The candidate humbly invites the populace to take part in his vigil, which will consist of two separate days, each day being one part of the vigil. The FIRST part to be undertaken by the candidate will be a “walking” vigil the evening of Friday, June 22nd, starting at 7:00 pm. It is the intent of the candidate to travel from encampment to encampment, seeking one opportunity of small service and, after completing said task, then giving time for any good member of the populace of that encampment to impart their advice to the candidate. The candidate also invites any member of the order of the Pelican, Chivalry, or Laurel to accompany him to observe his vigil task for any length of time during the evening.

The SECOND part of the vigil will occur on Saturday, June 23rd, after evening court. It will consist of a pot-luck for all who wish to participate. The candidate invites any good member of the populace who would share in his joy at this occasion. Be it also known that should any good gentle present, both Peer and Non-Peer alike, care to give private counsel to the candidate, it would be warmly and humbly welcomed by him.
