Students at El Segundo Middle School in California got a chance to see just how things were done in the Middle Ages recently when members of the Barony of Lyondemere, in the Kingdom of Caid, paid them a visit. Paul Clinton and Shelly Leachman of the Daily Breeze covered the story.

"Some students learn the best when they actually get to see it and do it for themselves," said Beth Muraida, president of the Parent Teacher Association who sponsored the festivities. The 7th graders were treated to martial activities as well as demonstrations of leather-working, spinning, chainmail making and dancing.
