The Shire of Drygestan is pleased to host May Day Melees, occurring on May 5, 2007, from 10AM to 4PM.
This year's May Day Melées will be held on Saturday, May 5th, in one of the Rancho Viejo Subdivision's parks, on the corner of Richards Avenue and El Cuero Way. This is the same location as last year's. We have the site from 10AM to 4PM and are planning much fighting and fun for all. There will be a brass-bowl donation luncheon*, to help defray the fees related to the event.
As long as gentles are mindful of sprinkler heads, metal stakes can be used.
Please contact Maimuna (mka: Katie Daniel) email@example.com
Take I-25 (either north or south-bound) to the Cerrillos Road exit. Travel into Santa Fe on Cerrillos Road. Turn R on Governor Miles Road. Turn R on Richards Avenue. Travel down Richards Avenue a few miles (you'll go past a few churches and the Santa Fe Community College). You'll enter the Rancho Viejo/Windmill Ridge subdivisions; keep traveling on Richards Avenue, past rows of single-story homes. The park will be on the left, nestled among both single- and two-story homes. Look for the Drygestan list-field and banners.
Because parking is at a premium, we request that gentles carpool when possible. Parking can be had around the park and on the sides of the two-story homes.
Please forward this event announcement to any interested members of the populace.
* While there is no site fee, we will be offering a brass-bowl donation
luncheon, to defray costs; the NMS will not be levied.
