Giulietta da Venezia, Reporting Herald, reports that at the Canterbury Tales event in Their Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, Their Majesties, Christopher and Morgen, King and Queen of Æthelmearc, elevated one citizen to the Order of the Pelican and placed another on vigil for the Order of the Laurel.

Master Alastar became a member of the Order of the Pelican after those present heard the words of Syr Bera the Wallsbane, Sir Kadan Chakhilgan ger on Echen, Master Creature Twyne Dragon, Mistress She'erah bat Shlomo, and Her Excellency, Judith of Kirtland.

Later in Court, Mistress Amaryllis Coleman was asked to consider entry into the Order of the Laurel "not only her many years of clothing the populace, but also her years of teaching others the tailor's and costumer's arts, and her happy talent for turning shapeless piles of cloth into wondrous forms of clothing." She was placed on vigil to be elevated at AEthelmearc's 10th Year Celebration.
