SCAdians and academics unite for Medieval and Renaissance Evening

Medieval sights and sounds were the order of the day recently when Lynchburg College (Virginia) presented its annual Medieval and Renaissance Evening complete with handsome knights in armor, lovely ladies in long gowns and clever bards. Christa Desrets of the Lynchburg News-Advance has the story.

The annual event was created by Professor of English Elza Tiner who patterned it after a similar program in Toronto. The event was attended by students, professors, and a number of members of the Society for Creative Anachronism such as William and Tracy McBride.
