The A&S event attracted members from many disciplines who shared their expertise in a number of classes offered at the event. "It's a large enough group, there's always someone doing some in-depth focus on something," said Dahrien Cordell, who does pewter casting.

Northshield folk are made of tough stuff, as proven recently by those who braved a late winter snowstorm to attend An Artful Haire Affair at the Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Jeni Lewis of the Marshfield News-Herald had the story.
