Come one, come all to Clear's first event! Our numbers are growing, and that means NEW PEOPLE! So many, in fact, that we're having a Collegium / Newcomer's event. There will be classes on basic t-tunics, chainmaille, leatherworking, fighting, and others. The class schedule is in the process of being finalized, and will be posted later today or tomorrow.
We have both adults and children without garb, so if you have any gold key that may be borrowed for the day, please bring some.
Soup and bread will be provided for lunch. Dinner is potluck. The Stronghold will be providing a turkey.
If you need crash space, contact the event steward to make arrangements.
When: March 10, 2007
Where: Anderson School, Anderson
Site open from 10-9. Classes start at noon. Potluck at 6:30.
This is a dry site.
Admission: No standard site fee. Instead, we'll be accepting donations. We need things to get our group started. The type of things we're looking for:
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Dish soap
- Ziploc bags
- Trash bags
- Tea (we have coffee)
- Artificial sweetener
- Instant hot chocolate
- Kids crafts
- Scrap paper for coloring
- Any adult crafts
- Gold key
And anything else you can think of that we can use.
Directions to the site: Take the Parks Highway to the Clear/Anderson spur road. Go down about a mile, and turn right towards Anderson. The school is about five miles down, on your left hand side. If you get to the Anderson RV Park, you've gone too far.
